Spring is full of events for our school. Below are just a few of the happenings going on at VHS:
February 12 – Miss FCCLA, 6:30 pm
February 16 – 19 - Cheerleader Tryouts February 18 – Annex Literacy Night, 6:00
February 18 - Baseball begins, we play Isabella, 1:30 pm
February 22 - Softball begins, we play at Billingsley, 4:00 pm
March 1 – 5 - The Alabama High School Graduation Exam
March 13 - VHS Spring Band Concert
March 15 – 19 - Spring Break
March 24 – 25 - Alabama Reading and Math Test (ARMT)
March 30, 31, and April 1 - SAT-10 Testing
During the testing dates, please have you children here each day. It is vital for our school that we test each child. Have them get a good night’s sleep before each school day and make sure that they have a good breakfast.
Other dates ahead for us: Honors Day and Senior Day – May 17
Second Semester Exams – May 25, 26 & 27
Last Day of School – May 27
Graduation – May 27, 6:30 pm
